And hey, you’re doing it (hugs)! But you’re also doing everything else, and it’s unsustainable. I’m Moraa, an Operations Nerd Expert who loves to create order out of chaos. I’ll get things organized and running smoothly so you can focus on being the visionary you are.

Your brain is lit up with cool ideas & big visions. My brain operates in frameworks. But we’re BOTH here for a meaningful mission.

I realize how weird it sounds to most business owners that I feel closest to my life’s purpose when I’m designing a color-coded spreadsheet—buy hey, that’s just who I am. :)

I’ve worked with startups at every phase of growth—from a tiny, “just an idea” kernel all the way to a multi-million dollar operation with a global team—and I can safely say that most business owners are allergic to things like: creating templates; building (and sticking to) their SOPs; and learning a new project management system.

Either they don’t have the time to deal with that stuff, they just don’t want to deal with it, or they’re so DIY that they don’t think they need any of it (yet).

Well… you do need it.

Remember the TinMan from The Wizard of Oz? (Trust me for a sec.) He was always a compassionate, shiny, loyal friend with a lovely singing voice—but without the right operations (hello? oil can!) he was just stuck in a forest, unable to share those gifts with the world... FOREVER. (Aaaand now I realize I’ve just compared myself to an oil can. 🤦🏾‍♀️)

Your company only exists because of your mission & vision. And the world needs you to be out here doing the work that only you can do—not stuck in a forest, rusted in place by faulty systems.

Fortunately, my mission is to create SOPs & systems (or fix broken ones), and handle all the other operations-nerd things that make your brain go on the fritz—so you can focus on the important work that only YOU can do.

From ideation to scale

I spent 4 years growing a mission-driven startup from “very cool idea” to “multi-million dollar travel company” with an incredible group of humans. We had to create every system & process from scratch, including traveling internationally with our clients, hiring & training and building & managing a growing online community.

I’ve written policies for a publicly traded company, operationalized those policies across different teams, worked as a project manager, & provided sound legislative and legal guidance (with the help of attorneys). I love what I do… as long as it stands for something.

Someone recently asked me what my favorite place was, and I said, “Are large bodies of water that you can peacefully swim in a ‘place’?” Yeah, that.
